This year’s training will be conducted at the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City, NJ from June 20-24. AFGE 2nd District National Vice President Derrick Thomas has this message for interested participants:

As the National Vice President of the 2nd District of the American Federation of Government Employees, I welcome you to Atlantic City and to the AFGE Multi-District Regional Training.

Many exciting courses will be offered – from Representation and Collective Bargaining to Financial officers training – and even more! A complete list of the course selections can be found on this website.

AFGE takes great pride in the quality of its educational programs because we know that you want to receive the best training available for running your Local and representing your members. Our trainers bring many years of experience to this program. You will be impressed with their knowledge and skills.

And, if you have never traveled to Atlantic City before, I am sure you will enjoy its breath-taking view of the Atlantic Ocean from the Boardwalk, as well as its many casinos, restaurants, shops, and night-time shows.
